Offline Product Activation (version 20+)

Normally, activation of Umango is very straightforward and is largely automated. However, where the installation resides on a computer that does not have an internet connection, activation is a little more manual.

To activate Umango on a computer that is not connected to the internet, follow the steps below.

Open a browser on the umango server. in the url bar, enter:

http://localhost:50080/dashboard/activate

Select the "Activate" option on the right. Find the 9 digit serial number found below the activation key field. You can now proceed with one of the 2 options below:

Option 1. If you have access to a computer that has the internet connected, open a browser to http://umango.com/activate and complete the form.

Option 2. Copy and paste the serial number into a support request along with the following information and email it to support@umango.com stating you require manual activation:

• 9 digit serial number
• 9-12 alpha-numeric product key
• Company name
• Contact phone
• Contact email
• Contact name
• Street address where license will be activated

You will then be emailed a Umango activation key and an OCR engine serial number.

Once you have these, follow the steps below to complete the activation:

1. Enter the Umango activation code in the activation window still open at http://localhost:50080/dashboard/activate then press "Activate". You may then be told that activation is only partially complete. If you completed option 1 above, you will now need to email support@umango.com to request a license key for ABBYY. Once you have the ABBYY key, proceed to the next step.
2. Run the file [Program Files]\Umango\2X\ocr\LicenseManager.exe
3. Once the license manager opens, click "Activate License" and enter the OCR engine serial number (that was provided by your Umango support desk)
4. Click Next and follow the steps to activate via email

You're done. Enjoy!
