Manually Activating an ABBYY license
Normally, the Umango installer will take care of all the licensing and activating of the ABBYY OCR engine used within Umango. However, there may be times when you are provided an ABBYY license by Umango support and need to activate the license manually. This is the procedure:
- On the Umango server, open a File Explorer and browse to the folder:
[Program Files]\Umango\2X\ocr - Within that folder, launch the application "LicenseManager.exe"
- If you see any license listed that indicate that they have expired, right click on the license and select "De-activate License". If none are listed, move to the next step
- Select the "Activate" button and follow the steps to enter and activate the new license key you have been provided
