You may experience a situation where Umango creates blank pages when importing PDF documents. This may occur when Umango is importing pdf's using a watched folder from Umango's Windows service (job services).
This is due to a bug in a September 2017 Windows update of .NET. To resolve the problem you have 4 options -
1. Install the Microsoft update that resolves the issue (recommended option). Please see this Microsoft Knowledge Article with related links.
2. Uninstall any of the following problematic Windows updates for your related operating system -

3. Limit your job workflow to only reading TIF format files (not pdf format) or;
4. Only import PDF files when running in the foreground. Importing PDF files when running in the Windows service introduces the issue.
