On Xerox devices, where scanning from the Umango embedded application, you may see the error;
Remote directory lock failed.
To resolve this, FTP locking should be disabled. This is performed differently on different devices.

Update! - in some of newer device models you may find the lock files option relocated to: Properties > Apps > Scan Services > Defaults & Policies > Scanning Lock Files Policy Uncheck the 'Lock Files' option and press 'Save' |
